Just Missed

The Dirty Ball
April 18
135 51st Street, Lawrenceville

Attack Theatre's The Dirty Ball returned for it’s fourth year and more than 900 revelers enjoyed four titillating Attack Theatre performances, the salacious sounds of DJ Soy Sos and Justin Hopper, luscious libations from Pinnacle Vodka, Barefoot Wine, and Yuengling, irreverant art installations by Dr. Sketchy and CMU's Entertainment Technology Center, and of course, dirty dancing all night long.

A special thanks to all the Dirty Donors, volunteers, sponsors, crew, performers, staff and dirty attendees who made this event an enormous success!

In the Schools

April was a very busy month for Attack Theatre's work in the schools. We performed and completed residencies at Markham Elementary (Mt. Lebanon), Eden Hall Elementary (Pine Richland), Avonworth Elementary, Bethel Park High School, Fox Chapel Country Day School, Cecil Intermediate (McDonald, PA), and D. Ferd Swaney Elementary (Uniontown, PA) ranging from Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, Classical Indian Dance, character traits from The Wizard of Oz, creating dances from football referree signals... and completed the school year at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music where Peter and Michele are on faculty and Attack Theatre is the dance company in residence. Whew!

Thanks to our arts education partners - Gateway to the Arts, Arts Education Collaborative, and Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
