187 36th Street, Lawrenceville [map it]
Attack Theatre transforms 187 36th Street in Lawrenceville into a "decadent, pulsating disco club" (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) for one evening only, as The Dirty Ball returns for its sixth year. Join us for a salacious soirée of grog, grub, and gyration to raise booty for Attack Theatre and celebrate with 1,000 of your closest mates. The Dirty Ball, honoring the (Jolly) Rob Rogers*, features Attack Theatre performances, beats by Title Town DJs J. Malls and Gordy Greenawalt, interactive installations and games by CMU's Entertainment Technology Center, Obscure Games Pittsburgh and Eric Singer of Lemur, and a special appearance by Sea Captain Seamus’ Shameless Swashbucklers.
*The Dirty Ball 2011 honoree is the award-winning editorial cartoonist and long time friend and supporter of Attack Theatre.
With a cast of 15, experience a battle across the wild seas as Sea Captain Seamus (Peter Kope) with his Salty Skipper (Jeff Davis) and their team of swashbuckling mermaids, wenches, and scallywags yo-ho, swagger, and blow the man down. Look up and see the Human Habitrail busily buzzing above you, join Obscure Games Pittsburgh for a shark infested game of Bite Me, capture the Entertainment Technology Center's on-screen creatures as you befriend them in their installation, Bloboo and more!
Thanks to our generous sponsors, your ticket entitles you to drinks all night long from Don Q Rum, Clique Vodka, Yuengling, Herdade do Esporão, and Vitamin Water and food by area restaurants including Los Cabos, Papa John's, among many others. Dancing? We've got that covered: you can do that all night to jams by Title Town DJs Gordy and J. Malls, or just watch our performers in every corner of the building in light boxes, steel sculptures, and on the main stage.

Driving?
If you are coming from downtown, please consider approaching 36th Street via Smallman Street instead of Butler Street. There is plenty of street parking around The Dirty Ball site, though depending on what time you arrive, you may need to walk a few blocks (see "Walking?" above). Good places to look include Smallman Street, Charlotte Street, and Mulberry Way. Please avoid parking in "no parking" areas and respect local residents and area business by not blocking garage doors or parking directly in front of houses in the immediate vicinity of The Dirty Ball.
