Join Attack Theatre for a Season Announcement Party on Thursday, September 7, 2017 as we reveal an exciting new season of dance performances, special events, and community engagements. We will gather for a happy hour celebration from 5:00–7:30pm in Studio A of Pittsburgh Opera (2425 Liberty Avenue) in the Strip to kick-off Season 23. We will share short dance excerpts and exclusive insights about our upcoming season:
September 21–22, 2017 at Contemporary Craft, 2100 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
September 23, 2017 at Unsmoke Systems Artspace, 1137 Braddock Avenue, Braddock, PA 15104
Inspired by works of visual art from the Strip District to Braddock, Attack Theatre invites audiences to embark on a journey through improvisation, co-creation, and performance. Engaging the audience in dialog, dance and live music, each performance interacts with works of art to create a world premiere for each new venue, work of art, and audience.
October 20, 2017 at Spirit Hall, 242 51st Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201
Attack Theatre takes over Spirit Hall in Lawrenceville on October 20, 2017 for a one-night-only extravaganza, featuring exclusive Attack Theatre performances; a stunning light installation by artist, Ian Brill; and different DJs every hour throwing beats guaranteed to set your dancing shoes and grooves on fire.
December 1–3, 2017 at George R White Studio, 2425 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Inspired by the gritty and heartfelt poetry of Jimmy Cvetic, this lighter look at the heavy side of life will bring laughter, shock, and an unabashed relationship with being real.

This year, Attack Theatre also continues its extensive arts education programming which serves thousands of students and teachers across the region. Attack Theatre’s arts education programs are rooted in reflection, investigation, and imagination; and focus on the creative process and use movement to strengthen understanding of the core curricular concepts and the arts.
