Welcome to our APAP 2022 Virtual Showcase

Plus One brings together performers from Antonio Brown Dance and Attack Theatre. Originally conceived for outside performances, this one-hour work is available for touring in theaters, outside areas or parking garages. Come as a stranger, leave as a friend. Plus One is an exploration of otherness and belonging, where the plus one is all of us. Choreographed by Antonio Brown (Antonio Brown Dance and long-time Bill T. Jones collaborator) with Attack Theatre, it is a party full of unique identities: a coming out, a coming together, and a coming home.

Attack Theatre in the Community

Some Assembly Required

Some Assembly Required is a unique performance experience that blurs the lines between visual art, music, and dance; and between audience and performer. In a collision of the planned and spontaneous, Some Assembly Required engages the audience with improvisation, creation, and performance inspired by specific works of visual art.

Interactive Museum Experiences

Attack Theatre partnered with the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh to provide interactive museum experiences for their exhibit, Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention. These workshops engaged museum participants through innovative and creative interactions designed to enhance the young visitor experience. Participants conducted a wacky symphony, solved silly puzzles, and created exciting movement machines that unlock the inventor in all of us.
