We are teaching artists and dancers with Attack Theatre, a modern dance company based in Pittsburgh. Welcome to our Imagination Station.
This interactive video captures our experience with Wheeling Country Day School, both inside and outside the classroom, as we explored the world of Castle Rock through movement and dance.
In early 2020, we spent five days with our fourth grade friends so we could share our experience of playing Castle Rock with others. We made dances together. We learned how to control our bodies and tell stories. We made movements to express our ideas and feelings.
But then, on March 16th everything changed. And we needed to finish this journey together, but apart.
This video is our virtual performance. It includes rehearsal footage and poems, artworks and dances created and filmed by student performers in their homes. We are so proud to be part of the learning environment here at WCDS.
